
Konstantinos Togias

Konstantinos Togias received his Diploma in Mathematics (in 2000) from the Department of Mathematics, Univ. of Patras, Greece, and his M.Sc (in 2007, in Mathematics of Computation and Decision Making), from the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, Univ. of Patras, Greece.
Since 2020, he is a PhD candidate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of the Peloponnese, Greece. He has been a Laboratory Assistant with the Department of Telecommunication Systems and Networks, ΤΕΙ of Messolonghi, Nafpaktos (2010 – 2011). Since 2000, he has participated as a researcher in several R&D projects led by the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, N.T.U.A., Greece, the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, Univ. of Patras, Greece, the Hellenic Open University, Patras, Greece, the Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus” (CTI), Patras, Greece, and the Technological Educational Institute of Patras, Greece. He has participated area searcher in several EU R&D projects.
Examples are the IST projects Astra and Atraco and the LLP projects SoRuraLL and VAB. He has published 1 journal article and 5 conference papers. His current research interests include DevOps, Agile, Domain Driven and Test Driven Software Development Methodologies, Software Systems Refactoring Methodologies, Software Design Patterns, Microservices Patterns, knowledge engineering, extraction and representation, engineering and application of ontologies, social and semantic web, and open source software. He participates in software programming & testing, open source and free software groups & communities, including the Greek Software Testing Board Meetup Patra, the Western Greece Developers Meetup, the Greek Community of Ubuntu Linux (Ubuntu-gr), the Greek Community of Manjaro Linux and the Patras Linux User Group (PatrasLUG).
