Katerina Deligiannidou

MSc., Scientific Associate Engineer

Deligiannidou Katerina was born in Veroia, Greece in 1986. She obtained her Diploma of Computer Engineering and Informatics at the University of Patras in 2011 and completed her MSc at the Computer Science and Technology post-graduate program in 2016.

She has worked as an informatics educator at various private educational organizations. In the past, she worked as a software engineer at the Central Library and Information Center of the University of Patras and from June 2012 until April 2016 she joined the Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus” (CTI) as a freelancer. She was positioned in the Web Technologies Department, at the E-government services team. The role of the team is the planning, development, and operation of e-government services and its main goal is the provision of high-quality e-government services to the citizens, business and public administration.

From May 2016 until January 2017 she participated in the European project “OrganiCity“ that aims to create a new model for smart cities in Europe based on designing and implementing mechanisms for data classification (crowdsourcing data annotations) within a smart city platform through machine learning and volunteers.

Since 2017 she collaborates with the University of Patras, Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, as an IT Consultant for the design and development of operations for the Insurance Products of the Interamerican OnE core web application.
