Georgia Sourla
MSc., Scientific Associate Engineer
Georgia Sourla received her Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2009 and also received her MSc in Computer Science and Technology in 2012 in the same department. Since then, she has been working as a Software Engineer in various commercial projects, gaining significant experience in software development and project coordination as well.
From 2013 since 2016, she had been working for Intracom Telecom as a software engineer. She was involved in software design and development for several AXE projects for Mobile Switching Centers of Ericsson’s mobile networks, mainly regarding Single Radio Voice Call Continuity, but also in various market customizations.
By the end of 2016, she started cooperating with the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras, as a software engineer. Until the beginning of 2019, she was involved in a project in association with Interamerican Insurance for the design and implementation of multiple projects of the insurance domain, including the Agent Management system and Properties and Casualties system in the Interamerican OnE application.
Since 2019, she has been working in OLYMPUS European project for Scytáles AB and she is responsible for the development of Android mobile applications for testing pilots in the Mobile Driving Licence use case with a focus on ISO 18013-5 standard.
